ANCORA is a small, private complex on Golden Beach, Thásos: four elevated suites set fifty metres back from the water, a traditional tavern at their feet, and the turquoise shoreline waiting just across a quiet road.

Reserved for guests of the house, our small family tavern sits between the suites and the beach — whitewashed walls, weathered wood, and the clatter of plates beneath the olive trees. The catch is local, the oil is ours, the bread is still warm.

01 · The Suite
Wake above the bay.
Open the shutters fifty metres above the shore. Coffee on the terrace, the Aegean already at work below.
02 · The Tavern
Pause beneath the olives.
A few steps down to whitewashed walls and warm bread. Long lunches, quiet dinners, the sound of the sea close enough to hear.
03 · The Beach
Cross the road, find the water.
A small coastal lane, then the soft gold of the sand. The Aegean shallows, barefoot, whenever you're ready.
