ANCORA is a small, private retreat on Golden Beach, Thásos: four elevated suites just ten metres from the surf. At their feet, an atmospheric all-day lounge bar welcomes you in the morning with a refined breakfast and light meals, and transforms by night into the perfect spot for a relaxed drink — with the turquoise shoreline stretching just across the way.

Wake above the bay.
Open the shutters ten metres above the shore. Coffee on the terrace, the Aegean already at work below.
02 · The Veranda
Pause beneath the olives.
A few steps down to whitewashed walls and warm bread. Long lunches, quiet dinners, the sound of the sea close enough to hear.
03 · The Beach
Cross the road, find the water.
A small coastal lane, then the soft gold of the sand. The Aegean shallows, barefoot, whenever you're ready.
